Avionics

The JG Aviation aircraft maintenance workshop can perform all periodic IFR inspections related to the radio and the application of the CN called “transponder” for all aircraft with a transponder on board.

These tests and checks can be made during regular visits of 50, 100 hours or more. Having acquired the latest hardware generation we conduct these operations without disassembling instruments or manhole circuits, that is to say if no abnormalities were to be detected.

AEROFLEX IFR 4000

Allows the test and control of IFR classified aircrafts:

– VHF radios for communication

– VOR

– ILS

– Markers

– Com

The device, placed at a distance from the plane, can receive the information sent by radio instruments and the radio navigation system and then verify their accuracy.

AEROFLEX IFR 6000

– DME

– TCAS

– Together with the ATEQ ADSE, it allows the test and control of the transponders modes A, C, S.

The IFR 6000 positioned on the ground with its antenna directed at the aircraft’s transponder antenna receives the different bearings which the mechanic will, helped by the the touch screen, instruct the aircraft’s altimeter, 1000 ft, 4000 ft, 10 000 ft etc…

ATEQ ADSE 745

Can control independently:

– Altimeter

– Variometer

– Anemometer

Thus allowing Pitot/Static tests.

Associated with the IFR 6000, it also allows the test called “CN Transponder”.

All these operations are done without removing or dismantling the instruments, if of course no dysfunctions are detected:
A connection to the Pitot tube and a “spider” suction cup applied to the static external port, all connected to a touch screen operated by the mechanic installed in the cockpit will unequivocally control over the data accuracy provided by the instruments.
